WordPress Token Economics Specialist - Custom PHP

We are looking for a detail-obsessed WordPress developer to own the token economy at GetBooksReviewed.com - a subscription platform where authors earn and spend tokens through reviews, sweepstakes, and rewards.

This is a specialist role. You will become the single most knowledgeable person on our platform about how tokens are issued, calculated, redeemed, and audited.

What You Will Own:
- Token issuance logic tied to review submissions
- Sweepstakes entry token rules and redemption
- Rewards and reward opportunity calculations
- Token balance integrity and logging
- Abuse prevention and edge case handling
- Ongoing audits to ensure accuracy

Platform: Custom WordPress child theme, no ACF, Gravity Forms, MemberPress, custom PHP token system.

Requirements:
- Strong custom PHP / WordPress development skills
- Experience with complex business logic
- AI-native workflow (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar)
- Rigorous testing habits

Bonus: Points/rewards systems experience, MemberPress, automated WordPress testing.

Rate: $20-$35/hour | Part-Time / Ongoing | Remote
