Voice AI Developer Needed – Inbound & Outbound Sales AI (Vapi.ai + Twilio)
Job Description
We are building a production-ready Voice AI system that handles BOTH inbound and
outbound phone calls. The system will answer inbound business calls, qualify and book leads,
and also run high-volume outbound sales and appointment-setting campaigns.
This is not a beginner project. We are looking for a developer with real experience in voice AI,
telephony systems, and AI integrations.
A detailed, developer-ready technical specification document will be provided after initial
screening.
Required Technical Experience
1 Vapi.ai or comparable voice AI platforms
2 Twilio (inbound & outbound calling, routing, recordings)
3 LLMs such as OpenAI or Claude
4 Speech-to-Text and Text-to-Speech pipelines
5 Webhook-based API integrations
6 CRM integrations (Airtable, HubSpot, Notion, or similar)
7 Calendar booking integrations (Calendly or equivalent)
Note: We are NOT using GoHighLevel or any all-in-one CRM platforms.
System Requirements – Outbound
1 Automated outbound dialing from uploaded lead lists
2 Natural, human-like conversations with interruption handling 4 Live call transfer to a human closer when qualified
5 Voicemail detection and voicemail drop
6 SMS follow-ups for interested or missed contacts

1 Answer inbound business calls 24/7
2 Route calls based on intent (sales, support, booking)
3 Qualify inbound leads before human transfer
4 Book appointments directly into calendars
5 Handle after-hours calls and overflow
6 SMS follow-ups for missed or unanswered inbound calls
Shared Requirements
1 Automatic call summaries and transcripts
2 Outcome logging to CRM
3 Configurable scripts and logic without redeployment
4 Modular, scalable, cost-optimized architecture
Project Scope

• Admin configuration for scripts, flows, and qualification rules
• Testing, QA, and deployment-ready setup
