AI Threat Defense Prototype and Working Solution

Job ID: 40184340

Budget: $250 – $750 CAD

The task is to create an add-on module that brings modern, AI-driven protection to a well-known commercial Anti-Virus platform (the exact product name will be shared once you are onboard). Your job is to design, code, and demonstrate a working integration that I can add.

Scope
• written/visual proposal by 29 Jan – architecture diagrams, threat models, toolchain, and milestone plan.
• Fully functioning build, installer or plug-in, plus a short validation report by 22 Feb.

Core capabilities I need the module to introduce
One fresh, meaningful capability not already shipped with the host product—surprise me, but make it practical.

Threat focus
The solution must address advanced persistent threats, zero-day exploits, and sophisticated phishing or social-engineering vectors. Demonstrate how your approach surfaces each of these with minimal false positives.

Deliverables
• Source code with clear build instructions.
• Integration wrapper or plugin conforming to the AV vendor’s extension guidelines.
• A CLI or GUI demo app showing detection and response in a controlled lab.
• Technical documentation that lets my in-house team maintain and extend the work.
• Short video walkthrough (screen-capture is fine) of installation and key workflows.

Acceptance criteria
• Compiles and runs on the current Windows build supported by the target AV.
• Detects at least three previously unseen malicious samples in live tests.
• Automatically neutralises at least one simulated phishing attack on first encounter.
• No noticeable performance degradation (>5 % CPU during idle scan).

Confidentiality is mandatory; by working on this project you agree to keep all artefacts, code, and knowledge strictly private. I will be available for rapid feedback throughout the engagement.
