Technical IP Program Manager (AI & Healthcare)

We are building a next-generation AI-powered healthcare platform operating at the intersection of primary care, lifestyle medicine, behavioral health, and clinical workflows. We are seeking a Technical IP Program Manager to help us systematically capture, structure, and prepare our inventions for provisional patent filings.
This is not a legal role and not a patent attorney position. It is a technical production and project-management role focused on invention mining, normalization, and diagram coordination.
What You’ll Do
Invention Mining & Structuring
Interview founders and technical leads to extract invention ideas
Translate conversations into structured invention disclosures
Normalize language across disclosures to ensure consistency
Identify overlap and clustering opportunities across inventions
Patent Family Organization
Maintain a living map of patent families and embodiments
Prevent over-fragmentation of related inventions
Track which inventions are ready for provisional filing
Diagram Coordination
Generate or prompt first-pass system and workflow diagrams (using AI tools or diagram software)
Curate, simplify, and standardize diagrams for patent-appropriate abstraction
Ensure diagrams align with written disclosures
Operational Oversight
Track progress across multiple invention disclosures
Maintain clean versioning and file structure
Coordinate “ready to file” packages (spec + figures)
Required Skills
Strong technical literacy (systems, workflows, APIs)
Excellent written structuring and summarization skills
Comfort working in healthcare or regulated environments
Diagram fluency (Lucidchart, Draw.io, Figma, or similar)
Strong organizational and project management habits
Ability to turn messy conversations into clean documents
Nice to Have
Exposure to AI systems (LLMs, agents, pipelines)
Experience with invention disclosures or patent prep
Familiarity with EHR workflows or clinical operations
Time & Engagement
10–15 hours per week
6–8 week initial engagement
Fully remote
Report directly to founder
Success Looks Like
20–30 invention disclosures captured
8–12 coherent patent families mapped
3–5 high-quality provisional filings ready to submit
