About the Project

We're an AI/SaaS company with 15+ production applications built on Next.js 14 + Supabase. We need an experienced Supabase developer to:

1. Complete a skills assessment (test project provided)
2. Fix deployment issues across our production apps
3. Standardize our Supabase architecture

Required Skills (Must Have)

- 3+ years PostgreSQL experience
- 2+ years Supabase production experience
- Row Level Security (RLS) - design, debug, optimize
- Supabase Auth - sessions, JWT, middleware
- Supabase Storage - buckets, policies, CORS
- Next.js 14 App Router - Server/Client components, @supabase/ssr
- Database migrations - schema versioning, rollbacks
- Serverless deployment - Vercel, Netlify

1. We provide a test Supabase project with 10 intentional issues
2. You identify and fix each issue
3. Document your solutions
4. Best performer gets the full contract

Test covers:
- RLS policy debugging (403 errors)
- Storage bucket permissions
- Auth session handling
- Query optimization
- Migration scripts
- Client initialization patterns

Scope of Work (After Assessment)

Phase 1: Audit (1 week)
- Review 15+ repos using Supabase
- Document all schemas, RLS policies, storage buckets
- Identify security vulnerabilities

Phase 2: Fixes (2-3 weeks)
- Resolve all 403/401 deployment errors
- Fix RLS policy conflicts
- Configure storage correctly
- Standardize client patterns

Phase 3: Optimization (1 week)
- Add missing indexes
- Optimize slow queries
- Implement connection pooling
