Senior Full Stack Developer With AI Experience

The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join us on a part-time monthly retainer. You will work directly with our business leadership to execute our product backlog, maintain and improve the platform, and help us automate manual processes using AI.
This is not a ticket-and-ship role. We want someone who thinks like a founder, takes ownership
of outcomes, and brings ideas to the table. If you see a manual process that should be
automated, we want you to say so and propose the solution.
What You Will Work On:
- Delivering prioritised backlog features across the full stack
- Maintaining and improving the Django backend, REST APIs, and AWS infrastructure
- Frontend development in Next.js, including responsive UI refinement and new feature
implementation
- Integrating third-party services including Stripe, ActiveCampaign, Amplitude, and
SignatureAPI
- Implementing AI-driven solutions to replace manual workflows and support platform scale
What We Are Looking For:
Essential
- 5+ years of full stack development experience
- Strong proficiency in Django (Python) and Next.js / React
- Solid understanding of AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, SES)
- Experience with PostgreSQL and REST API design
- Demonstrated experience integrating third-party APIs (payments, CRM, analytics)
- Strong written English and async communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own time across time zones
Highly valued
- Proven experience building or integrating AI-powered features (LLM APIs, automation agents, AI-assisted workflows)
- Experience with compliance-heavy or regulated industry platforms
- Familiarity with Amplitude or similar product analytics instrumentation
- Experience with Stripe subscriptions and billing logic
- Previous work on SaaS platforms with subscription models
