Senior Backend Developer for SponsorsFinder AI
Budget: ₹75,000 – ₹150,000 INR
SponsorsFinder AI is a SaaS platform designed to automate sponsorship outreach. It collects user profiles, discovers potential sponsors, enriches and scores them with AI, generates customized pitch decks, and automates email campaigns. We are building the backend from scratch, and we’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer to own it end-to-end.
What You’ll Build
Authentication & Multi-tenancy: JWT/OAuth, role-based access, API keys.
Sponsor Discovery Engine: Integrations with CSR pages, APIs, compliant scraping, and press/news sources.
AI/NLP Layer: LLM-powered summarization, entity extraction, and alignment scoring (with embeddings + RAG).
Outreach Automation: Email sequencer (multi-step campaigns), provider integrations (Gmail, Outlook, SendGrid, Postmark), and CRM sync (HubSpot/Salesforce).
Proposal/Kit Generation: Automated PDF/PPTX deck creation with personalization, stored on S3 with signed URLs.
Analytics: Funnel metrics, outreach performance, sponsorship ROI dashboards.
Infra/DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, async workers, monitoring, and scaling.
Required Experience
We’re looking for someone who has actually built SaaS backends with AI integrations and can handle complexity.
Backend Frameworks: Strong in Python (FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Celery).
Databases: Proficient with Postgres (schema design, migrations, pgvector) and Redis/SQS (for queues & caching).
AI/LLM Orchestration: Experience with LangChain, HuggingFace, OpenAI APIs, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation.
Scraping/Discovery: Experience with Playwright, Scrapy, trafilatura, and compliant web scraping practices.
Async Orchestration: Designing worker pools, retry logic, DLQs, and job scheduling.
Infra/Cloud: Hands-on with AWS ECS/Fargate, S3, CloudFront, RDS, Terraform.
Email/CRM Integration: Gmail/Graph API, SendGrid/Postmark, HubSpot/Salesforce connectors.
Security & Compliance: Auth best practices, secrets management, GDPR, SPF/DKIM/DMARC for email.
Testing & Monitoring: Unit/E2E testing, observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, OpenTelemetry).
Nice-to-Haves
Built or scaled an AI-powered SaaS product before.
Experience with document generation tools (python-pptx, WeasyPrint).
Knowledge of Stripe or SaaS billing systems.
Worked in a startup/MVP environment with fast iterations.
