AI School Support Agent Development
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
Project Title:
Budget Estimation & Development of an AI Agent for School Decision Support (1,450 Students)
Project Description:
Hello,
We are currently in the feasibility study and budgeting phase for a school project. We aim to build a Custom AI Agent that acts as a Decision Support System (DSS) for school administration.
We need a professional developer/data scientist to provide us with a realistic financial quotation (development cost), estimated monthly operational costs (API & Hosting), and a timeline for execution based on the following scope and technical requirements:
1. Project Objective
To build a School Management Decision Support AI Agent that analyzes historical and daily-updated student data, extracts behavioral and academic patterns, and provides actionable recommendations and roadmaps for school leaders.
2. Data Scale & Pipeline
Target Audience: 1,450 students.
Static/Semi-Static Data: Student profiles, class distribution, socio-economic/health backgrounds (if applicable).
Dynamic Data (Updated Daily/Periodically): Daily attendance records, periodic test scores, and daily behavioral incident logs.
3. The Core Analytics Modules
Attendance Module: Track and predict chronic absenteeism or dropout risks. Identify hidden patterns (e.g., absenteeism linked to specific days of the week, periods, or subjects).
Academic Performance Module: Analyze student grades to identify "Students at Risk" of academic failure early in the semester, allowing for timely educational intervention.
Student Behavior Module: Classify behavioral issues and correlate them with variables (e.g., classroom environment, timing, or academic performance) to discover the root causes of behavioral shifts.
4. Required Outputs & Deliverables
Pattern Recognition & Classification: Classify the 1,450 students into risk categories (e.g., Excellent, Stable, Needs Monitoring, High Critical Risk).
Actionable Insights & Recommendations: The Agent should not just display raw data. It must generate a textual "Roadmap" or text-based recommendations for administrators. (e.g., "We recommend transferring Student A to Class B to reduce behavioral friction based on historical conflict patterns" OR "There is a collective 30% drop in Grade 8 Mathematics scores; we recommend reviewing the teacher's lesson plan.")
5. Expected Technical Stack
We anticipate the project will be built using:
Python: For core data processing, statistical analysis, and machine learning (Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc.).
Large Language Models (LLMs): GPT-4, Claude 3.5, or equivalent via API to synthesize data and generate human-readable recommendations.
Agentic Framework: CrewAI, LangGraph, or equivalent to orchestrate specialized sub-agents (e.g., an Attendance Agent, an Academic Agent, and a Decision Agent).
UI/Dashboard: A simple, secure interface for data entry and report viewing (built via Streamlit, Power BI integration, or a web framework).
What we need from your proposal:
A fixed-price quotation for developing this system from scratch.
Estimated monthly operational costs (SaaS/Cloud Hosting + LLM API token consumption for 1,450 students).
Estimated timeline for delivery.
Optional alternative: If you advise building this using Low-Code enterprise tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot Studio / Power Apps) because the school already utilizes Microsoft 365, please state the cost difference.
Thank you, and we look forward to your realistic estimations!
