Job Description
We are looking for a STEM Expert with strong knowledge in biology, physics, or chemistry to join a short-term remote project with a leading AI company.
The role involves developing and refining high-quality reasoning questions that evaluate AI models, ensuring accuracy, rigor, and instructional quality in the prompts and test items.
Responsibilities
Design and Optimize STEM-Based Prompts: Create detailed prompts with multiple constraints and scientific instructions.
Define and Document Evaluation Standards: Establish expectations for correct responses and develop comprehensive rubrics.
Conduct Model Testing and Grading: Run prompts through AI models and assess outputs against expectations.
Support Benchmarking and Quality Assurance: Collaborate in QA review to ensure prompt tasks meet scientific rigor, maintaining consistency before integration into benchmarks.
Minimum Qualifications
BS or BA in Biology, Physics, or Chemistry
Familiarity with undergraduate-level topics in biology, physics, or chemistry
Strong writing and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in teaching, research, or applied STEM field
Offer & Details
Remote / asynchronous work – flexible schedule
Minimum 20 hours per week
Commitment: ~1 month
Hourly rate: $50–$60
Structured project environment with clear goals and tools
