Summary
We’re building an AI-powered travel planning platform, similar to MindTrip.ai and iPlan.ai, and are looking for an experienced Backend & AI developer to take ownership of the backend and AI systems from start to launch.

If you enjoy designing clean backend architecture, building scalable APIs, and implementing AI workflows into product features, we’d like to hear from you.

Important: Please do not apply if your solution relies on n8n or similar automation tools. We need custom, maintainable backend and AI logic, not no-code shortcuts.

About the Project:

You’ll help power:
- AI-generated itineraries
- Personalized recommendations
- Automated workflows
- Real integrations with travel features and APIs

This role requires a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

Scope of Work:

- Backend Architecture & Development: Design backend structure, build secure APIs, handle authentication, permissions, and data flow.
- Database: Schema design, implementation, and optimization.
- AI Travel Agent Logic: Itinerary generation, recommendation logic, workflow orchestration, and LLM integration (OpenAI or similar).
- Product Integration: Connect AI features to the UI for a smooth user experience and provide clear documentation.
- Post-Launch Support: Bug fixing, optimization, and minor feature refinements during the agreed support window.

- Detailed features & requirements
- Figma designs and screens are fully ready

Ideal Developer:

- Strong backend experience (Node, Python, or similar)
- Solid API and third-party integration background
- Experience with LLMs / AI agents
- Independent, organized, and clear communicator
- Comfortable taking ownership
- Bonus: Experience with travel platforms or search/booking systems.
