AI Motorcycle Dealership BDC Platform (SMS-First)
We are looking for an experienced developer to build an AI-powered BDC (Business Development Center) platform for a dealership. The system should function similarly to Tecobi, focused on real-time lead engagement, natural SMS conversations and appointment conversion.
Core Goal:
Internet lead comes in → AI responds naturally via SMS → builds rapport rider-to-rider → keeps customer engaged → pushes toward dealership appointment → human salesperson closes in-store.
Project Scope:
- Twilio setup/configuration + A2P/10DLC compliance
- AI-powered SMS conversation system
- Email support as secondary communication channel
- Web-based dashboard for lead management
- Manual takeover/live agent intervention
- Appointment tracking + lead pipeline
- Buying Probability scoring engine (0–99)
- AI trained specifically for Harley-Davidson sales conversations
Lead Sources:
- Website leads
- Facebook leads
- Harley OEM leads
- Finance/payment leads
- Email-forwarded CRM leads (eLeads)
Dashboard Requirements:
Simple, fast, clean interface with:
- Lead list
- Live SMS conversations
- Appointment status
- Buying probability score
- Priority indicators
- Last action / next follow-up
AI Behavior Requirements:
- Respond within ~3 minutes (not instantly robotic)
- Sound human and biker-style, not generic AI
- Understand Harley-Davidson motorcycles (current + legacy models)
- Build rapport naturally before pushing appointment
- Never negotiate pricing/payments
- Escalate financing/payment/pricing questions to humans
- Flag unknown questions for manual review
- AI should never reveal itself as AI
Key Features:
- Manual conversation takeover anytime
- AI pause/assist mode when human joins
- SMS-first communication philosophy
- Re-engagement workflows
- Operating hours logic (8AM–10PM local time)
- Follow-up automation
- Priority lead surfacing for sales managers
Buying Probability Logic:
System should score leads based on actual purchase intent not just engagement. Strongest signals include:
- Financing/payment discussion
- Trade-in discussion
- Appointment activity
- Immediate buying timeline
- Specific bike interest
Tech Preferences:
- Twilio for messaging
- Lightweight custom dashboard preferred
- Email-forwarding workflow acceptable for MVP
- CRM integration can be phase 2 if needed
Important:
The platform should prioritize speed, simplicity and conversion performance over unnecessary CRM complexity.

Timeline / Budget: 7, 8 days / $60 NZD
