LangChain Snowflake Retrieval Agent
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need an AI-driven agent built with either LangGraph or LangChain that plugs directly into our Snowflake warehouse and focuses exclusively on data retrieval. The goal is to give business users a natural-language interface that can:
• Execute custom SQL and Snowpark queries on demand
• Stream real-time updates as underlying tables change
• Run scheduled extractions and drop results into predefined destinations (another Snowflake schema, S3, or a REST endpoint)
The workflow should be orchestrated so each step—authentication, query composition, execution, and result formatting—runs as a clear, maintainable graph or chain. Please incorporate robust error handling, role-based access, and simple hooks where we can add further processing later.
Deliverables
• Source code and environment files (Python preferred)
• Setup guide that gets the agent running inside a Docker container connected to our Snowflake dev account
• Demo notebook or script showing the three retrieval modes working end-to-end
• Brief hand-off session (recorded) walking through architecture and how to extend it
When you respond, share past work that demonstrates you have already built something similar—agents, LangChain/LangGraph projects, or Snowflake integrations. Screenshots, repos, or short videos are welcome; no formal proposal is necessary at this stage.
