AI Improvement: Data Science & Conversational Tone

Budget: $8 – $15 CAD

We’re looking for talented and reliable freelancers to join our ongoing AI improvement projects.
You’ll help train large language models (LLMs) by creating high-quality data science coding challenges and/or by writing and evaluating short AI conversations focused on tone, empathy, and personality.
Both projects are part of our mission to build smarter, friendlier AI systems that understand people and solve real-world problems effectively.
Project Areas
1️⃣ Data Science Project
Create and test data science challenges using Jupyter Notebooks.
Each task includes:
Writing a clear, testable prompt
Building an initial prompt
Completing a final prompt
Writing pytest tests to verify correctness
Ensuring reproducibility (Python 3.10.11 or 3.10.13) and pinned library versions
You’ll need:
Strong Python skills and comfort with pandas, numpy, matplotlib, scikit-learn
Experience creating, debugging, or reviewing coding tasks
Attention to detail and clear technical writing
Understanding of ML workflows and reproducible environments
2️⃣ Conversational Tone & Writing Project
Help evaluate and improve AI conversational tone.
You’ll write short (1–2 turn) chat scenarios and compare two AI responses — rating which feels more natural, emotionally intelligent, and engaging.
You’ll need:
Excellent English writing and communication skills
Sensitivity to tone, warmth, and conversational flow
Ability to imagine realistic messages, emails, or advice requests
Strong attention to emotional nuance and empathy

Strong communicator, both technically and personally
Reliable and self-motivated with good time management
Curious about AI and how it learns from human input

Commitment: 10–30 hours/week (both projects available)
