Disha Career Counseling Platform
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I am building a proprietary, end-to-end career counseling and psychometric assessment platform that removes any reliance on third-party tools. The first release must feel franchise-ready so we can quickly roll it out to schools, partner centers, and independent counselors while keeping full ownership of our codebase and data.
Primary audience
At launch the experience must speak first to students and parents, giving them a smooth, guided journey from secure sign-up with email and password through to personalized career insights.
Core experience for users
• Career counseling pathways with rich, interactive content
• In-house psychometric assessments (no external APIs) with instant scoring
• An AI-driven recommendation engine that matches assessment results to careers, courses, scholarships, and local mentors
Platform foundations
• Scalable microservice or modular architecture that supports multi-tenant franchising from day one
• Admin and franchise dashboards to manage users, licences, centers, and revenue splits
• Data encryption, GDPR-ready consent flows, and clear audit trails
• Clean REST/GraphQL APIs so mobile apps can plug in later without refactor
• Analytics layer to track engagement and assessment completion rates
Acceptance criteria
1. A deployed web MVP on our cloud account (AWS/Azure/GCP—your call) handling at least 5,000 concurrent users in load tests.
2. All assessments run entirely within the platform; results store in our own database.
3. Recommendation engine returns ranked career suggestions in under two seconds.
4. Franchise toggle demonstrated: creating a new tenant spins up isolated data space and custom branding.
5. Complete hand-off: source code in Git, brief technical documentation, and a walkthrough video.
