AI Developer for Health & Wellness App (GPT-4, LangChain, Apple Health, Supabase, Pinecone)

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced AI/Backend Developer to extend an already-developed health and wellness app built in FlutterFlow. The app's goal is to provide users with personalized Ayurvedic insights by combining quiz responses and Apple Watch health data, and delivering intelligent AI-driven recommendations.

You will lead the design and implementation of a backend system powered by GPT-4, integrating a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipeline using LangChain and Pinecone. The backend must securely ingest and reason over data stored in Supabase (quiz results, wearable metrics) and return structured AI responses that are accurate, explainable, and aligned with Ayurvedic logic.

Key Responsibilities
1. Build and deploy AI logic using OpenAI GPT-4 to:
- Estimate Prakriti using pre-defined quiz logic stored in a Supabase database
- Estimate Vikriti using Apple Watch health data (e.g., HRV, sleep, activity).
2. Implement a RAG pipeline using:
- LangChain to control prompt flow and input sources.
- Pinecone to retrieve accurate context from vetted Ayurvedic sources.
- Supabase to store quiz data, wearable input, and user records.
3. Connect Apple HealthKit data (via FlutterFlow or API endpoints).
4. Design and enforce lifespan logic for quiz and wearable data (i.e., how long each input remains valid for AI use).
5. Set up a confidence scoring system to determine reliability of AI output (especially Vikriti).
6. Prevent hallucinations and unsafe outputs using retrieval-augmented methods.

Tech Stack
- FlutterFlow (frontend already completed)
- Supabase (PostgreSQL, Auth, Edge Functions)
- OpenAI GPT-4 API
- LangChain (prompt orchestration, RAG)
- Pinecone (vector database for document retrieval)
- Apple HealthKit (via Flutter integration)

Requirements
- Hands-on experience with OpenAI APIs (GPT-4) and prompt design.
- Strong knowledge of LangChain, Pinecone, and Supabase.
- Prior integration work with Apple HealthKit or wearable health data.
- Understanding of token usage, cost optimization, and AI safety patterns.
- Ability to build secure APIs and protect sensitive health-related data.
- Familiarity with Ayurveda concepts is a bonus; curiosity and openness to learning is essential.
- Experience creating admin panels to control AI logic inputs, weights, or thresholds.
- Projects involving RAG systems, semantic search, or QA-based AI experiences.
- Supabase-specific experience (e.g., RPCs, edge functions, Postgres logic).
- FlutterFlow integration knowledge.

Deliverables
- GPT-4 backend logic for Prakriti and Vikriti estimation.
- Complete LangChain + Pinecone-based RAG system for grounded, explainable responses.
- Secure integration of Supabase data and Apple HealthKit metrics.
- Complete AI backend integration with the FlutterFlow frontend, including endpoints and data pipelines.
- Dynamic prompt construction using quiz and wearable data inputs.
- Admin-side QA scoring logic and validation interface support.
- Deployment-ready backend with cost-monitoring and logging setup.
- Developer-friendly documentation for prompt logic, architecture, and integration points.
