Customization of Moodle Multi-School Learning, Students & Exam Management System
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Customize Moodle or Moodle's IOMAD Multi Tenancy to Operate as a full Multi School Learning, Students Record and Examination Management system with the following new features in addition to the standard Moodle and IODA features:
1. Super Admin can create and manage Institutions, lecturers and students (as well as create an Institution Admin or School Admin). School Admin can create and manage Faculties, lecturers, students, courses, process statement of results, and transcripts (as well as create a Dean or Faculty Admin). Faculty Admin can create and manage Departments (as well as create an HOD or Departmental Admin). Departmental Admin (HOD) can assign lecturers to classes, students to courses and review grades. The Super Admin will however have the power of God over the system.
2. Lecturer can do everything a Lecturer can do on Moodle as well as grade students' assignments, exams, and assign examination scores. A lecturer can supervise a project report (thesis and dissertations), add comment, flag plagiarism, pass or demand that a report be redone. Lecturers will be able to see the list of all lecturers (name, school, faculty, department, and course being taught) in his school and across all schools and send messages/mails to them for interactions regardless of which school they are. Each lecturer can determine grading criteria for his/her courses.
3. An HOD (e.g., in School A) can invite another Teacher or Lecturer in another school (e.g., School Z) via messages/mails to co-examine a student project in his/her school (School A). The privilege can later be revoked by the HOD.
4. A copy of each message exchange on the system will be sent to the email of the receiver. There will be an audit log kept securely and accessible to only the Super Admin and the School Admin (the latter being limited to only activity log for his/her school).
5. There will be AI-powered anti-plagiarism check and citation suggestions to enable each student to subject their works to similarity and plagiarism check before submission. Submission will be possible as MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Video, Audio, and PDF. The system shall also allow a student to build texts in a text area into a PDF. Each submitted item shall have an autogenerated Item Number and URL which will be part of the records of that item.
6. There will be AI-based learning recommendations that can analyze a student's work and suggest relevant materials from the internet.
7. AI-powered grading of assignments across schools. After students submit assignments, teachers can select one or multiple submissions and click an auto-grading button to get AI-generated scores and feedback. A student report submitted unto the system shall be assigned an auto-generated document number.
8. The system will have a repository containing question dump, lecture notes, academic reports, other assets/items.
9. It will include data analytics and graphical performance reports covering every aspect of the students record, performance appraisal, school comparison, and learning progress.
10. The system will warehouse comprehensive records of each student and teacher (First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, Country, Region, State, counties (or boroughs), town, village, Student Number, phone number, email address, Course of Study, Department, Faculty, Contact address, permanent home address, next of kin name, next of kin phone number, next of kin email address.
11. The system will allow and enable each School Admin to process statement of result for each student with Frame QR code stamp to ease verification.
12. The system will enable each School Admin to process certificate for each student with Frame QR code stamp to ease verification.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
i. Please use Google Generative AI API for grading and feedback.
ii. Experience with LMS development (custom or Moodle-based) is preferred. I am open to alternative applications that perform and satisfy the same objectives.
iii. Project Scope & Deliverables: a fully functional custom final product with standard features of fully-customized Moodle as well as the features listed (1 to 12) above shall be deployed and tested on our secure server.
iii. It must have a user-friendly, responsive interface, and fast loading (successful bidder will be shown sample theme).
