Copart Sniper AI Bot Development
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I'm looking for an experienced developer to create a Copart Sniper AI bot with the following functionalities:
- Auto-bidding
- Price prediction
- Auction monitoring
The bot should be developed in JavaScript and will operate as a Telegram bot.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in JavaScript
- Experience with Telegram bot development
- Strong understanding of auction systems and bidding strategies
- Familiarity with AI/ML for price prediction algorithms
- Prior experience with monitoring and automation tools
Please provide examples of similar projects you have completed.
Most Copart buyers (especially exporters) manually scroll through listings, guess which cars are worth buying, and either miss deals or overpay. We want to automate that process using filters, AI, and smart auto-bidding logic.
MVP Scope (Phase 1)
The sniper bot should:
Scrape or access Copart inventory in real time (via Copart public site or reverse-engineered API)
Allow user to input filters:
Make, model, year
Title type (clean/salvage)
Location
Max bid
Damage type
Score each vehicle with a resale value or profit potential
Based on vehicle history, auction trends, damage level, etc.
Notify user (via Telegram or web app) when:
A matching vehicle is live
A deal is flagged
Auto-bid (or simulate bid) at last second using sniper logic
Optional Smart Features
(Not required for MVP but preferred if possible):
Integrate AI model to predict resale price based on car specs and past data
Estimate repair costs using basic damage analysis
Add auction history tracking (for comps)
Tech Stack Suggestions
Scraping: Python (BeautifulSoup, Playwright, Selenium) or Node.js (Puppeteer)
ML/AI: Python (scikit-learn, XGBoost) or use OpenAI to assist w/ margin summaries
Interface: Simple web dashboard or Telegram bot
Hosting: Render, Vercel, Railway, or VPS
Ideal Candidate
Proven experience with web scraping, especially dynamic/JS-heavy websites
Bonus if you've worked with auction, e-commerce, or auto industry tools
Ability to create clean, maintainable code
Familiar with bidding automation or scheduling logic
