AI Content Automation Platform Developer

Job ID: 40114774

Budget: $25 – $50 USD

Full-Stack Developer - AI-Powered SaaS Platform

About the Project
We're building an AI-powered content automation platform for a specific industry vertical. The core AI engine is built and working - we need a developer to complete the dashboard, integrations, and bring it to production.

This role spans two connected codebases - you'll work across both to unify the platform.

Tech Stack
Frontend: Vanilla JavaScript (42,000+ lines), migrating to Next.js 14
Backend: n8n workflows (42+ nodes), Next.js API routes
Database: Airtable (current), migrating to Supabase
AI: Claude API (Anthropic) - content generation + Vision AI

Integrations: Blotato, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, Cloudinary, Stripe, airtable, openai, more

What's Built
Core AI automation workflow (functional)
n8n webhook-based engine (42+ nodes)
Interactive multi-step quiz (vanilla JS)
React components (forms, viewers, drag-drop)
Database schemas

What We Need
Dashboard UI completion
Authentication (OAuth + email)
Payment integration (Stripe)
Media management (Cloudinary)
Social media API connections
Analytics dashboard
Codebase cleanup and unification

Your Role
Beyond building features, we want you to review our architecture and suggest improvements:

Audit the current structure and identify inefficiencies
Recommend smarter approaches where you see them
Simplify complex flows if possible
Flag potential issues before they become problems
Navigate and refactor legacy code without breaking things
We value engineers who think critically, not just execute.

Must Have:

JavaScript (Advanced) - 42,000 lines of vanilla JS to navigate
n8n workflow automation - our backend runs on 42+ nodes
API integration (REST, webhooks, OAuth)
Ability to read and refactor someone else's code
Highly Valuable

Next.js 14, React 18, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
Supabase (PostgreSQL, Auth, Storage)
AI/LLM prompt engineering
Social media platform expertise
HeyGen or AI video tools

This Role Is For You If
You can work independently with a non-technical founder
You're comfortable with async communication
You can translate business needs into technical solutions
You're not afraid of messy legacy code

This Role Is NOT For You If
You only work on clean, greenfield projects
You're backend-only (heavy frontend work required)
You've never worked with webhooks or automation tools

Portfolio (2-3 relevant projects)
Experience with n8n or similar automation tools
Your availability
Answer these questions in your application:

Describe a workflow you've built with n8n (or Zapier/Make). What did it do, how many nodes, and what APIs did it connect?

Have you ever inherited someone else's messy codebase? How did you approach it?

You're connecting to an API and it works sometimes but fails other times. What's your first step?

How do you prefer to share progress with a non-technical founder?

Note: NDA and Work-for-Hire agreement required before codebase access. Full specs shared after signing.
