Chrome Extension Backend Automation Support
Budget: $8 – $15 AUD
I already have a working Chrome-extension framework and need an extra set of hands to take it further. The codebase is Node.js on the backend and the next sprint is about adding new features, improving existing logic, and closing out any bugs that surface during testing.
The extension automates three main flows for end-users—data scraping, form filling, and broader user-interaction tasks—so you’ll be touching plenty of DOM APIs and HTML structures. Everything is wired for AI-assisted development; I work in VS Code with Codex integrations, and I expect you to be comfortable doing the same so we can pair-review changes quickly.
Weekend coverage on Sydney time is part of the support rota, so factor that into your availability. Communication, solid unit tests, and accountability for pushes to production are non-negotiable; once you merge, you own the outcome.
Deliverables for each ticket
• Clearly scoped PR with passing tests
• Brief test-plan notes and observed results
• Any necessary tweaks to the automation scripts (scraping, form, or interaction layer)
