AI Career Guidance Web App
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m building an AI-powered platform that helps students discover the careers that fit them best, and I need the complete web application delivered end-to-end.
Core stack
• Frontend in React.js with a modern, mobile-responsive UI/UX.
• Backend in Node.js + Express.js, connected to a MongoDB database (this is my preferred store).
• Email-based authentication only; Google or other social logins can remain optional for a later phase.
Key features
• An AI recommendation engine that analyses each student’s skills, interests, and academic record to suggest suitable career paths.
• A personalised dashboard where each user can track only their recommendation history (no progress tracking required at this stage).
• Admin panel to manage users and platform content, plus built-in search, filtering, and analytics to monitor overall usage.
Deliverables
1. Fully functional source code with a clean, well-documented file structure.
2. Deployment assistance so the app runs smoothly on a cloud host of my choice.
If you’ve shipped React/Node applications before and are comfortable integrating AI logic and MongoDB, let’s talk. Clean code, thoughtful UX, and clear documentation are must-haves; the sooner we can get a working prototype online, the better.
