AI Bathroom System for Trucks

Job ID: 39984066

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m building an AI-enabled delivery truck that comes with its own private restroom, freeing drivers from the bottle-in-the-cab routine and giving fleet operators a PR-friendly edge. The most critical piece is the bathroom management system, and I’ve already committed to a portable chemical toilet as the hardware core. I now need a specialist who can design and prototype the full management stack around it.

Here’s what I expect as concrete deliverables:
• Mechanical and electrical layout for the portable chemical toilet, sized for a Class-3 to Class-6 truck body
• Sensor suite definition (fill level, splash detection, door/occupancy, air quality) with data points exposed via CAN-bus or REST
• Embedded control logic or micro-controller code that monitors those sensors, triggers ventilation and deodoriser cycles, and flags service events in real time
• Edge-AI routine that predicts fill-up time based on usage patterns, then syncs that forecast to my existing fleet dashboard API
• Service-safe access panel design, including quick-swap cartridge or pump-out connection, tested for DOT vibration standards
• Documentation: wiring diagram, component BOM, enclosure CAD, firmware repo with build instructions, and an integration guide for my main vehicle ECU

The bathroom module must run independently, yet publish its alerts so the wider truck AI—responsible for our discreet police-alarm and data-collection features—can read them without driver distraction. If you can suggest optional sanitation or water-supply add-ons, great, but keep the MVP laser-focused on waste disposal reliability.

I’ll sign off the project once the prototype survives a 72-hour bench test, passes a slosh/vibration rig, and posts clean data to the dashboard. If you’re confident with embedded systems, chemical toilet mechanics, and truck-grade compliance, let’s talk schedule and milestones.
