Budget: $15 – $25 USD

Software Developer | Swift (Vapor framework) + AWS

We're looking for a hands-on AI Automation Engineer to help scale our intelligent EMR system.
You'll work across backend and frontend systems, handling real world clinical workflows and accelerating our path toward full automation in home-based healthcare. If you're a builder who thrives at the intersection of AI and real world systems, this role is for you.

What you'll build

- LLM-powered automations that streamline documentation, triage, and clinical operations
- Backend services using Swift (Vapor framework) for performance-critical and secure healthcare APIs
- Frontend tools using React, transforming manual workflows into dynamic, user-friendly interfaces
- Configurable systems that replace hardcoded logic with admin-facing controls
- Secure, scalable services deployed to cloud platforms

Must-Have Skills

- Swift with production experience using the Vapor framework
- Experience building modular, reusable interfaces for third-party APIs with scalable architecture
- Proficiency with AWS (e.g., Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch)
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, event-driven systems, and secure backend practices
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving environment

Nice-to-Have Skills
- Familiarity with Firebase (Firestore, Auth, Functions)
- Experience deploying to Heroku or similar PaaS
- React for building responsive, maintainable UIs
- Background in data engineering (ETL workflows, schema design, analytics pipelines)
- Healthcare domain knowledge (EMRs, HL7, X12, 837/835 formats)
- Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure automation

What You Bring
- A system-thinking mindset paired with strong execution
- Experience working in live production environments
- Comfort translating ambiguous product needs into tested, scalable software
- Clear communication - you can work independently, but never in a silo
