Advanced Full Stack Developer Needed

Job ID: 40288165

Budget: $500 – $1,100 USD

AI-Powered Vehicle Certification and Automotive Service Bidding Platform

Senior Full Stack Developer Hiring
Backend, AI Microservices and Payment Systems

IMPORTANT — PROJECT CONTEXT

This project is not starting from scratch.

The platform already has an existing codebase, initial architecture, and a partially developed user interface.

The current hiring process is taking place due to the replacement of the previously responsible developer, and therefore requires a technical transition, audit of the current system stage, and continuation of development.

The new developer will be responsible for:

• reviewing the existing codebase
• auditing the current development stage
• identifying technical gaps and inconsistencies
• fixing existing problems
• continuing development until the platform is fully completed

By accepting the project, the developer acknowledges that the work involves taking over an existing system and completing its implementation.

1. Platform Overview

PROVAX is a SaaS platform designed to provide a complete ecosystem for the automotive industry.

The platform integrates:

• AI-powered vehicle certification
• certified vehicle marketplace
• automotive service bidding system
• escrow-based service contracting
• service provider reputation and rating system

Users will be able to:

• submit vehicle photos and videos for automated AI inspection
• obtain digital vehicle certification
• list certified vehicles in the marketplace
• hire automotive services through a proposal system

The final delivery must include:

• Web application
• Progressive Web App (PWA)

The system must be fully operational in a production environment.

2. Initial Technical Audit (Mandatory)

Before continuing development, the developer must perform a technical audit of the existing project.

The audit must include:

• system architecture review
• review of existing API routes
• database schema analysis
• frontend and backend integration verification
• identification of incomplete features
• identification of mocked or hardcoded data
• security and permission review

The result must be presented as a technical report including:

• description of the current system stage
• partially implemented features
• missing features
• technical inconsistencies identified
• development continuation plan

Development continuation will begin after this audit.

3. Current Project Status

A significant portion of the platform has already been developed.

Existing components include:

Frontend developed in Next.js with Shadcn UI (approximately 75% complete), including:

• landing page
• complete dashboards (Admin, Client, Provider)
• authentication system
• subscription pages
• vehicle marketplace
• initial bidding system
• user management
• account settings
• reports and statistics

Other elements already available:

• Prisma schema with core database models defined
• several backend API routes implemented
• dashboard statistics routes
• initial certification creation logic
• marketplace listing routes
• full UI/UX design in Figma
• SaaS base code configured (Next.js + Prisma + NextAuth)

4. Visual Identity and Design Refinement

The project includes refinement and completion of the platform’s visual identity.

Deliverables include:

• professional logo
• visual identity guidelines
• color palette
• system typography
• UI component styling
• homepage banners and visual elements

The design must follow modern SaaS interface standards.

The interface must remain consistent across:

• public pages
• user dashboards
• marketplace
• certification reports
• service bidding interface

5. AI Vehicle Certification System

The platform must implement four independent AI inspection modules.

Each module analyzes images uploaded by users and generates automated reports.

Required modules:

Structural AI
Analyzes chassis and structural integrity.

Paint AI
Detects repainting and surface inconsistencies.

Glass AI
Detects defects in laminated glass.

Interior AI
Analyzes interior vehicle components.

Each module must generate:

• inspection score
• structured JSON result
• certification record stored in the database
• report data for certification reports

Each certification must generate a PDF report containing:

• Vehicle Integrity Score (VIS)
• results for each inspection module
• certification timestamp
• certification ID
• public QR code

Reports must be securely stored in cloud storage.

6. AI Microservices Architecture

The AI modules must be built as independent microservices using:

Python
FastAPI
Docker

Required architecture includes:

• asynchronous queue using BullMQ and Redis
• independent workers for each module
• Docker containers
• deployment on AWS ECS or equivalent
• timeout handling
• idempotency control
• logging and monitoring

7. Certified Vehicle Marketplace

The platform must include a marketplace restricted to certified vehicles.

Required functionality:

• vehicle listing creation
• automatic linking to certification reports
• filters by certification type
• filters by vehicle integrity score
• “AI Certified” badge
• dashboards for buyers and sellers
• transaction history

All marketplace transactions must be stored in the system database.

8. Service Bidding System

The platform must allow users to request automotive services.

System workflow:

Client creates service request
Providers submit proposals
Client selects a proposal
Escrow payment is created
Service is executed
Payment is released after completion

Required features:

• service request management
• proposal submission system
• service progress tracking
• dispute management
• rating and review system

Providers must have an active subscription to submit proposals.

9. Payment System

All platform payments must be implemented exclusively using Stripe.

No other payment gateway will be used.

The developer must implement:

• subscription billing for service providers
• marketplace payments
• escrow payments for services
• automatic split payments using Stripe Connect

Required Stripe components:

• Stripe Checkout
• Stripe Connect
• Stripe Webhooks
• Stripe Payment Intents

Required webhook events:

checkout.session.completed
invoice.paid
invoice.payment_failed
payment_intent.succeeded
account.updated

All payment flows must be tested in the Stripe sandbox environment before production deployment.

10. Administrative Dashboard

The platform must include a complete administrative panel.

Required capabilities:

• user management
