AI Powered Zotero Assistant

The task is straightforward. My shared Zotero library contains 50-100 articles, and each one needs a concise, consistent summary saved inside its own record.

Here is the exact workflow I want followed: open a reference in the shared library, read or skim the PDF, run the plain-text prompt I provide in ChatGPT, copy the generated summary into the Notes field of that same Zotero item, then mark the entry as completed so we both know it is finished. I am already set on using ChatGPT for the generation step, so please feel comfortable working inside that tool.

A basic grasp of Zotero (editing items, adding notes, tagging or checking items off) is essential; nothing advanced is required. The pace is flexible—there is no hard deadline—but steady progress and clear communication will be appreciated. We can settle on either an hourly arrangement or a per-article count once we start.

Deliverables
• One clear summary in the Notes field for every assigned reference
• Each processed item visibly flagged as done in Zotero
