I built SmartCareer.in, an AI-driven résumé assistant that instantly generates and optimises ATS-friendly résumés for job seekers. The web app delivers real-time guidance on wording, structure and keyword relevance so users can stand out in recruiter screening systems.
Unlike traditional résumé builders, SmartCareer.in combines AI precision with a modern, no-refresh editing experience, ensuring that even non-technical users can create polished, recruiter-ready documents within minutes.
The platform comprises four core AI-driven modules:
1. Resume Creator – Provides a guided form-based interface, generating structured resume drafts from minimal user input using generative AI APIs.
2. Resume Enhancer – Leverages domain-specific embeddings and context-aware prompt templates to rewrite and optimize resume content for target industries and tech stacks.
3. Template Engine – Dynamically applies templates with modular components and real-time caching for instant preview and export.
4. JD Matcher – Parses job descriptions using NLP pipelines, computes semantic similarity with resume sections, and suggests targeted keyword and phrasing improvements to boost ATS scores.
