Project Overview: Automated Amazon Promo Code Data Extraction & Population

This project involves developing a Chrome extension that enables users to manually trigger data extraction from Amazon promo code pages. Upon user action, the extension automatically scrapes each promo deal tile on the page, capturing the price, product image, and description.

The extracted raw data is then seamlessly transmitted to Google Sheets or a backend database where automated cleaning and summarization processes take place. These processes compute the lowest and highest prices, consolidate up to four images per deal into a single cell, and generate concise descriptions using AI-powered summarization.

Finally, the processed and summarized data is automatically populated into designated cells within a pre-existing row of a master spreadsheet, integrating smoothly into existing affiliate management workflows. The entire pipeline—from user click to final data insertion—is fully automated, requiring no manual intervention after initial trigger.

This solution ensures efficient, accurate, and user-driven affiliate deal management while maintaining compliance with Amazon’s terms by limiting automated access to user-initiated actions.
