Testing Engineer for AI Chatbot (Performance & Reliability)
We are building a WhatsApp-based AI chatbot on a serverless AWS architecture (Lambda, SNS, SQS) and are looking for an experienced testing engineer to validate functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability.
The chatbot supports:
Web search integration
Multi-turn conversation memory
User persona / preference handling
PDF generation (resumes/reports)
Target scale is 10K concurrent users, with plans to scale higher.
Scope of Work
Design and execute functional test cases for chatbot behavior
Perform load and stress testing to simulate thousands of users
Validate performance metrics (latency, throughput, error rate)
Test failover and graceful degradation under component failures
Validate PDF generation accuracy and performance
Tools & Stack
Load testing: Locust and/or k6
Chatbot testing: Botium or similar
AWS: Lambda, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB
Storage: Local (DB knowledge required for future scaling)
Required Skills
Strong experience with AWS serverless systems
Hands-on performance and load testing
API and chatbot testing experience
Understanding of scalability and reliability testing
Nice to Have
Experience testing AI / LLM-based systems
WhatsApp or messaging platform testing
PDF generation testing
