AI Medication Info Chatbot

I need an AI-powered chat module on my healthcare website whose sole purpose is to give visitors reliable, up-to-date medication information—specifically dosage guidelines. When a user types a drug name (and, ideally, age or weight), the bot should return the standard dosage range, frequency, maximum daily dose, and a brief disclaimer urging professional consultation.

To keep answers trustworthy, the system must draw from authoritative drug databases such as FDA labels, DailyMed, or BNF and cite the source in each response. The conversation should feel natural, maintain context across multiple turns, and remain HIPAA compliant—no user data is stored once the session ends.

I’m open to whatever stack gets us there fastest: OpenAI or Azure OpenAI behind a lightweight React or vanilla-JS widget, with a Python (FastAPI) or Node backend. Please include a simple admin screen so I can update or override dosage entries without touching code. Design the data layer so I can later expand into side-effects or interaction checks.
