WhatsApp Hospital Locator & Booking Chatbot
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I want a full-featured WhatsApp chatbot that helps patients quickly find and book appointments at nearby hospitals. This can be a WhatsApp bot or android application. Anything you can generate is ok. The flow should start by asking for the user’s location (either GPS pin or typed suburb), then list hospitals that match the services they need—maternity, theatre, GP, plus accident & emergency, casualty, ambulance, medical aid desks, laboratory, diagnostic imaging, dental, optometry, physiotherapy, dermatology, and gynaecological care. After the user selects a facility, the bot must:
• Confirm available time slots and complete the booking in-chat.
• Store the appointment date, automatically send a daily or weekly countdown, and push any special notes I add (e.g., “arrive 30 min early”, “bring ID”).
• Deliver promotional messages only when I trigger them, not automatically, so I can schedule or broadcast adverts without spamming routine users.
The user experience has to feel conversational and natural while remaining compliant with WhatsApp Business API policies. Please build the backend so I can upload or update a hospital directory (name, coordinates, services, open hours) from a simple CSV or Google Sheet, and the bot should rank matches by proximity before anything else.
Core tech is flexible, but I expect the solution to run on the official WhatsApp Cloud API (or Twilio for WhatsApp), with a lightweight server in Node.js or Python and webhook endpoints I can host on AWS or Heroku. Localisation and service expansion should be straightforward—code must be modular and well commented. I already have a domain for this.
Deliverables:
1. Production-ready bot source code and deployment guide
2. Admin interface or script for managing hospital data and adverts
3. Short demo video or screenshots showing search, booking, countdown, and advert broadcast flows
4. One round of post-launch tweaks to polish UX and fix unforeseen issues
