ABOUT THE PROJECT
We are a restaurant looking to automate our customer experience using a WhatsApp AI Agent. The bot should handle the full order flow — from browsing the menu to placing an order — and run smart re-engagement campaigns to bring customers back. We want a production-ready solution, not a prototype.
WHAT THE AGENT MUST DO
Order management
Greet customers, display menu with categories and prices via WhatsApp interactive messages (lists/buttons)
Accept orders, handle item customisation (size, extras, remove ingredients), and confirm with a full order summary
Support multiple payment options (online link, cash on delivery, or in-store) and send confirmation with estimated time
Send live order status updates (preparing → out for delivery → delivered)
Customer retention
Send personalised re-engagement messages based on last order date (e.g. "It's been 7 days — here's a 10% off coupon")
Run loyalty tracking — notify customers when they are close to a free meal or reward
Collect post-order feedback (star rating + quick reply) and alert admin for negative reviews
Broadcast daily specials / seasonal offers to opted-in customers
Admin & handoff
Simple admin dashboard or Google Sheet sync to view orders in real time
Smooth handoff to a human agent when bot cannot handle the query
Multilingual support (English + Hindi preferred)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
Proven experience building WhatsApp bots or chatbots (please share portfolio or GitHub links)
Experience integrating LLMs (GPT, Claude, etc.) into conversational products
Ability to work independently, communicate progress clearly, and deliver on time
Bonus: previous work in food delivery, restaurant tech, or e-commerce chatbots
