Spanish Bilingual AI Chat App
Budget: $250 – $400 USD
I’m building a Spanish-first AI chat application and need a full-stack developer who can take it from concept to a functional web release using Next.js, Firebase, and LlamaIndex.
Key goals
• Deliver a modern, clean interface that feels instantly familiar to chat users.
• Make Spanish the default language while letting people switch to English at any time.
• Provide an AI-powered assistant—built with LlamaIndex—that answers questions fluently in either language.
• Enable rich social interaction through user profiles and voice messages.
Core stack & requirements
– Next.js for the reactive front end and routing.
– Firebase Authentication and Firestore for sign-in, real-time data, and secure storage.
– LlamaIndex (or compatible wrapper) to connect the chat to custom knowledge bases and handle bilingual responses.
Functional deliverable
1. Responsive web app deployed to Vercel (or similar).
2. Login/registration flow with Firebase Auth (email + OAuth).
3. Chat screen featuring:
• AI assistant thread with language toggle button.
• User-to-user voice message support (record, upload, play).
4. Profile page allowing avatar, bio, and preferred language.
5. Firestore rules ensuring user data isolation and secure chat history.
6. README covering local setup, environment variables, and deployment steps.
I have wireframe references ready and will provide sample prompts plus any copy you need in Spanish. Code should be clean, TypeScript-friendly, and pushed to a private Git repo with clear commits so I can review progress.
