AI-Savvy Assistant Needed
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I’m looking for a proactive assistant real or not who can jump in for an initial one-week trial and quickly prove indispensable. Your core focus will be improving and maintaining our written materials—mainly safe working procedures and audit documents—while streamlining the data that feeds them.
What you’ll tackle during the first week
• Write, edit, and polish new or existing safe-work-procedure documents so they read clearly in professional English.
• Combine scattered files, spreadsheets, and PDFs into well-organised master documents and folders.
• Enter or migrate data accurately, keeping naming conventions and version control tight.
• Suggest—and where possible implement—process tweaks using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot to remove manual steps.
• Produce a concise summary of the improvements you made and any further efficiencies you recommend.
Essentials to excel
• Strong, native-level written English with an eye for consistent tone and formatting.
• Solid command of Microsoft Office Suite—particularly Word for templated procedures and Excel for audit data.
• Hands-on experience with AI productivity tools; show me how you can use them, not just that you’ve heard of them.
• An organised mindset: you think ahead, notice gaps, and resolve them without constant direction.
How we’ll work
We’ll communicate mostly through email and shared cloud folders. I’ll provide source materials on day one and be available for quick clarifications, but I expect you to steer the drafting, data cleansing, and document assembly independently. If the first week goes well, I anticipate extending the engagement and potentially transitioning to an ongoing, even full-time role.
When you submit your proposal, briefly outline:
1. Relevant experience with safety or audit documentation.
2. The AI tools you actively use and a quick example of how you’d apply one to this project.
3. Your availability for the trial week and, if things expand, for longer-term work.
