Restaurant Virtual Receptionist Voice AI
Budget: $20,000 – $50,000 USD
I need a voice-based AI agent that greets callers to our restaurant and smoothly takes over the receptionist’s routine. The scope is clear:
• It must answer common questions about opening hours, location, parking and similar inquiries.
• It needs to take table reservations over the phone, confirming date, time and party size with the caller.
• When asked, it should read out accurate menu information such as today’s specials or dietary options.
English is the only language required right now. If the caller asks something the system cannot resolve, it should offer a polite, general response that encourages them to rephrase or check our website—no hand-off to a human is expected.
I’m open to whichever stack you prefer—Dialogflow CX, Twilio Voice, or a custom solution—as long as the final agent sounds natural, logs conversation transcripts, and can be updated easily when our menu changes.
Deliverables
1. Configured and trained voice AI agent connected to our main phone line.
2. Simple admin interface or clear instructions so staff can update menu items and opening hours.
3. Short user guide explaining fallback behaviour and how to pull call logs.
