AI Job Search Agent Development
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m building an AI-powered job search agent designed to help job seekers automate, organize, and personalize their job applications. The agent will act as a chatbot assistant that can apply to jobs on behalf of the user, track status, and generate personalized outreach — all while keeping everything neatly organized in a central tracking sheet.
Key Functionalities:
Application status tracking — real-time updates across LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor
Automated job application submission on behalf of the user
Job + hiring manager identification — find the person hiring and their email
Generate personalized outreach emails and save directly in Microsoft Outlook drafts (not Gmail)
Track all activity in a centralized sheet (Google Sheets or Excel), including:
Job title
Company
Platform
Date applied
Contacted hiring manager (Y/N)
Status (Pending / Interview / Rejected / Offer)
Conversational chatbot interface to manage all interactions
Supported Platforms:
LinkedIn
Indeed
Glassdoor
Preferred Interaction:
Chatbot-based assistant (web-based or integrated into Slack, Notion, etc.)
Ideal Developer Profile:
Strong background in AI/ML, especially natural language processing
Proven experience building chatbots or agent-like interfaces (Rasa, LangChain, OpenAI Assistants API, etc.)
Proficient in Python, with ability to work across APIs, browser automation, and scheduling logic
Familiarity with Outlook integration via Microsoft Graph API
Experience building or integrating with Google Sheets or Excel APIs for real-time tracking
Familiarity with scraping or interfacing with job boards/APIs (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor)
Bonus Feature Ideas:
AI recommends companies + roles based on user’s background and preferences
Option to “approve before sending” for both applications and cold outreach
Auto-follow-up logic with dynamic scheduling
Visual dashboard of success rate, platform conversion, and top-performing outreach types
What I'm Looking For:
I’m looking for a developer or team to help architect and build this agent end-to-end. If you’ve worked on similar AI assistants, outbound personalization tools, or multi-platform automation projects, I’d love to hear from you. Please share links to any relevant projects or GitHub repos.
