I want to delegate my daily Gmail traffic to an intelligent agent that answers messages on my behalf. The focus is on customer inquiries and incoming sales leads; support tickets and other mail types can remain untouched for now. Every reply must sound like a seasoned B2B professional—concise, value–driven, and consistent with standard business terminology used with B2B clients.
Core needs
• Seamless connection to my existing Google account (OAuth / Gmail API) without breaking Google’s security rules.
• Real-time or near-real-time drafting and sending of replies that address the sender’s questions, insert relevant links or URLs when needed, and avoid file attachments altogether.
• A knowledge base or memory layer so the agent can reference previous threads and company information to stay context-aware.
• Simple controls that let me review, approve, or override messages as the system learns, eventually moving to full autonomy for low-risk conversations.
• Clean, well-documented code—Python, Node.js, or Apps Script are all fine—as long as setup on my end is painless and the model (OpenAI, Gemini, etc.) is swappable later.
Acceptance criteria
1. I connect my Gmail in under 5 minutes using clear instructions.
2. The agent detects and classifies new messages correctly as “customer inquiry” or “sales lead.”
3. Within a test batch of 20 mails it produces B2B-ready replies that need no more than light polishing by me.
4. It never attaches files and only embeds approved URLs.
5. A short README and screen-share walkthrough show me how to adjust prompts, add company facts, and monitor logs.
