I am looking for an experienced AI/ML developer to create a custom AI-powered study assistant designed specifically for medical revision. This project involves integrating OpenAI’s GPT-4o (I'll provide the API key) with a personalised set of medical study materials, including PDFs, Word documents, PowerPoints, images (JPG/PNG), text files, and audio/video (MP4, MP3).
The AI should accurately answer revision questions, interpret clinical images (such as X-rays, CT scans, ECGs), and reliably handle multiple-choice, single-best-answer (SBA) questions. It should prioritise answers based on user-supplied study materials, while supplementing with authoritative medical guidelines (BNF, NICE, NHS Trust) when necessary.
The final solution must be fully operational by 29 May 2025.

Capable of interpreting diagnostic medical images such as ECGs, X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, PET scans, and anatomical diagrams.
• Single-Best-Answer (SBA) Logic
Specifically designed to provide only the correct option for SBA-style exam questions (no explanation necessary).
• Conflict Resolution and Learning
Must detect discrepancies between user content and external sources, allowing manual correction through the user interface. The system should learn from these corrections to prevent repeating the same mistakes, ideally generalising learned corrections to other similar questions.
• User-Friendly Web Interface
A straightforward and intuitive web-based GUI that enables easy upload and management of study files, question-answer interactions, and manual corrections. Desktop/laptop compatibility is sufficient; mobile optimisation is not required.
• Secure Cloud Hosting
Cloud-hosted (platform selected by the developer), with a separate monthly hosting budget of up to $40 USD. The system should be password-protected for single-user access (up to three concurrent users expected).
• Performance and Logging
Optimised to respond quickly, ideally within 30 seconds per query. The solution should retain logs of all interactions and corrections, backed up weekly.
• Medical Question Bank Integration
After signing an NDA and presenting the initial prototype, you’ll receive credentials to scrape and integrate content from three medical question banks.

The total fixed budget for this project is $1500 USD, paid across four milestones:
1. Proof of Concept: $250

2. Beta-Testing Model: $250
(Functional early version including basic file upload, Q&A capability, and initial image-handling features.)
3. Final Model Candidate: $500
(Feature-complete version, including conflict handling, integration of question banks, and refined user interface.)
4. Completed Final Product: $500
(Fully polished, optimised, and thoroughly tested final solution meeting all listed requirements.)
