AI Expert for Norvas Public Sector Project

We’re putting together a team of experts who want to have a real impact on how the government uses AI. This might be something you’d be interested in.
Under the umbrella of Connect Media, we’re preparing a new pilot project called Norvas – a platform for AI solutions designed specifically for the public sector in Slovakia. We focus on state institutions, municipalities, and organizations looking to make their work more efficient using technologies like NLP, LLMs, chatbots, RAG, and predictive analytics.

At the moment, we’re preparing for presentations in front of two major evaluation committees that decide on the support of innovation projects with real societal impact. In the coming weeks, decisions will be made about AI projects within a call with a budget exceeding 40 million EUR – and our proposal has the structure, expert background, and feedback that give it a very solid starting position.
We’re looking for developers who want to be part of something exceptional – not just technologically, but socially as well. Slovakia is noticeably behind the rest of the EU when it comes to AI, and right now is a unique opportunity to help change that.
It would really help us if we could list you at this stage as one of the experts we're consulting with – developers who could potentially be part of the team in the future.
At this point, we would need from you (non-binding):
1. Your name
2. A brief description of the AI projects you’ve worked on (especially in areas like LLMs, chatbots, NLP, RAG, PDF AI assistants, fine-tuning, API development, AI DevOps, etc.)
3. What specifically you did on those projects
4. If you're comfortable with it – your photo for the team slide
If you have it – a resume or brief professional summary (it doesn’t have to be formal – anything helpful is fine)
Specific types of projects we focus on:
· AI chatbot for government portals (e.g. Slovensko.sk), capable of answering common citizen questions based on legal regulations and official forms
· AI assistant for civil servants that helps them find answers to citizen inquiries using internal documentation and legal databases
· AI phone system that automatically contacts citizens (e.g. for overdue payments or missing documents)
· PDF & form assistant – supports application processing using OCR + LLM, completeness checks, and automatic suggestions
· AI statistics & reporting tools – help analyze the most frequent requests received by public offices to identify areas worth automating
We’re looking for both part-time and full-time developers – for consulting, development, architecture, or testing. It’s an open opportunity, but right now we need to build a credible presentation with relevant names and profiles.
Just for clarity:
In about 4 weeks, we’ll have an official decision about how Norvas will proceed.
If you’re still interested at that point, we’ll be able to confirm your participation 100%, including the terms, compensation, job role, and form of cooperation.
For now, this is only about presentation materials – and if you’d like to be involved, we’d need your information within 3 weeks. After that, we’ll have to close the team and finalize the outputs for the committee.
By the way – this project is based on real needs of the public sector, and we have long-standing relationships with people directly involved in the decision-making process. Thanks to this trust and feedback, we believe our chances are very strong.
