Experienced AI Sign Language Avatar Developer

Project Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned freelancer or agency with a proven track record in building AI-driven sign language solutions. Your primary deliverable will be a real-time (and pre-recorded audio) widget that ingests Speech-to-Text and renders American Sign Language (ASL) animations via a customizable avatar. This widget must seamlessly integrate with communication platforms (Webex, Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and standard web environments. Key Responsibilities:
** Solution Deployment: Immediately implement an existing AI-powered ASL avatar engine, adapting it to our environment.
** Integration: Wrap the avatar engine into a lightweight JavaScript/TypeScript widget or SDK that:
** Captures live audio streams from Webex, Zoom, and Teams (via their respective SDKs/APIs)
** Accepts pre-recorded audio files or streams on standard websites
** Translates speech to text (leveraging your proven pipeline)
** Renders smooth, natural ASL animations in real time
** Customization & Theming: Ensure the widget can be branded (e.g., avatar skin tone, background, sizing, UI controls) to fit diverse client platforms.
** Performance Optimization: Optimize latency so that spoken words map to signed animations with minimal delay (ideally under 300ms).
** Cross-Platform Compatibility: Verify functionality on major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox) and ensure fallback behaviors for unsupported environments.
** Documentation & Handoff: Provide concise developer documentation, sample integration code (JavaScript/TypeScript snippets), and usage guidelines.
** Testing & QA: Conduct end-to-end testing for live and recorded scenarios; supply test scripts and report performance metrics.

Required Qualifications:
** Demonstrated Experience: You have already built and delivered an AI Sign Language avatar solution in production—no exceptions. Please include a link or demo.
Technical Expertise:
** Deep familiarity with Speech-to-Text pipelines (e.g., Google Speech API, Azure Cognitive Services, open-source STT)
** Proficiency in rendering 3D or 2D avatar animations in real time (WebGL, Three.js, Unity WebGL, or equivalent)
** Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience packaging distributable widgets or SDKs
** Experience integrating with Webex, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams SDKs/APIs
** Performance & UX Focus: Proven ability to minimize latency and maintain animation fluidity under diverse network conditions
** Cross-Platform Development: Solid understanding of browser compatibility issues and responsive design
** Communication: Excellent written and verbal English; ability to produce clear documentation and code samples
** Professionalism: Adherence to deadlines, proactive progress updates, and willingness to conduct knowledge-transfer sessions
We need a very fast MVP demo by today
The goal of the demo is to:
** Have our AI ASL Avatar join a Webex meeting
** Use the Webex SDKs to get the real-time meeting transcript
** Have a pretrained model use the transcript to translate the text to ASL sign poses
** Have the avatar's hands sign in near real time.
Further developments after MVP would improve on the system by adding relevant facial expressions, idle/listening animations, and eventually being able to then detect a meeting participants sign language and converting the sign to speech
