We’re building Inboxx, a business messaging platform covering SMS, chat, and voice.
The backend, infrastructure, and chat services are already built.
We are looking for a senior AI engineer to plug in the AI brain — not run the company, not rebuild the stack, not take ownership stakes.
This is a pure AI role.
What You’ll Do
Design and implement AI logic for chat + voice
Integrate LLMs into an existing messaging system
Build and tune:
Prompting & conversation flows
Context management & memory
Tool/function calling
Voice-to-text and text-to-voice pipelines (if applicable)
Optimize for real-world business messaging use cases
What You Won’t Do
Full-stack development
DevOps / infra ownership
Product management
Equity discussions or “founder” roles
Requirements
Strong experience with LLMs (OpenAI / Anthropic / similar)
Hands-on experience with chatbots or conversational AI
Familiarity with voice AI pipelines is a plus
Able to integrate cleanly into an existing backend
Comfortable working as a plug-in specialist, not a generalist
Engagement
Contract / project-based (with potential ongoing work)
Clear scope, clean handoffs, no politics
