AI Chatbot Mobile App

I’m building a cross-platform mobile app that pairs a clean chat interface with an AI-powered assistant. The goal is to release on both iOS and Android from a single code-base (React Native, Flutter, or any modern alternative you’re comfortable with).

Core scope
The chatbot must reliably answer our FAQ set and deliver smart, context-aware recommendations to users. I don’t need booking or reservation handling right now, but the architecture should be flexible enough to bolt that on later. I’m still deciding whether we’ll launch in multiple languages, so please set up the project with localisation hooks (string files, language switch logic, etc.) to keep that door open.

Tech expectations
OpenAI or a comparable LLM is the likely engine; retrieval-augmented generation will keep answers grounded in our knowledge base. A lightweight backend—Firebase, Supabase, or something similar—is fine for auth, storage, and push notifications. If you prefer another stack, just explain why.

Deliverables
• Production-ready iOS and Android builds distributed to TestFlight and Google Play internal testing
• Source code in Git with clear setup instructions
• Documentation on updating the FAQ dataset and tweaking recommendation logic
• Short hand-off session (recorded) walking through deployment and maintenance

Acceptance criteria
The chatbot should answer at least 90 % of a 50-question test set correctly and return recommendations within two seconds on a standard 4G connection.
