AI Chatbot Developer Needed for WordPress Resource-Matching Bot

We are looking for an experienced developer to build an AI-powered chatbot for a WordPress website. The chatbot will help users find relevant resources by allowing them to describe their needs in natural language (for example: “I need therapy for my 6-year-old in Lakewood, NJ”).

The chatbot must be able to:

Understand user queries using AI (OpenAI / GPT)

Ask smart follow-up questions when information is missing (location, service type, insurance, etc.)

Search a structured resource dataset (imported from a Google Sheet or database)

Return relevant results with contact details and links

Be embedded into a WordPress site as a chat widget

Be configurable and maintainable by admins

Scope of Work:

Set up and configure the AI chatbot

Connect the chatbot to the resource data source (CSV, database, or API)

Design basic conversation flow and follow-up logic

Integrate the chatbot into WordPress

Provide documentation and setup instructions

Requirements:
