Build Two Smart Maritime Platforms (Web + Mobile + AI) – Bilingual (English and Arabic)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled full-stack developer or a small development team to build two bilingual (English + Arabic) AI-powered platforms in the maritime sector.

These platforms must be extremely easy to use. They are designed with a mobile-first interface for non-technical users like seafarers, engineers, and shipping professionals.

These are part of a larger digital ecosystem aimed at modernizing the global maritime industry through intelligent and accessible technology.

Project 1: Maritime Inspection and Compliance Platform

An AI assistant designed to simplify daily ship inspections, audit preparation, port readiness, and reporting for seafarers and shipping operators.

Key Features (must be extremely easy to use):
• Smart, dynamic checklists for inspection types including PSC, Vetting, MLC, ISM, Flag State, Class, Dry Dock, and more
• Port Entry Assistant to show port requirements, customs rules, documents, pilot boarding details, immigration info, and risk levels
• Deficiency Analyzer: users can describe an issue and receive a PSC-compliant logbook entry and fix guidance
• PDF export and report sharing
• Full bilingual UI: Arabic and English (RTL and LTR)
• GPT-4-powered assistant customized for maritime operations
• Very easy-to-use, mobile-friendly interface with minimal clicks

Project 2: Global Maritime Job Platform

A global job platform that connects seafarers with shipping companies, designed for simplicity, clarity, and accessibility.

Key Features (must be extremely easy to use):
• Seafarer user registration with step-by-step profile builder
• Upload CV, sea service record, certifications, and optional work images
• Browse and apply to job posts easily
• Status system to show availability (Available, Onboard, Vacation, Soon)
• Future phases to include company profiles and dashboards
• Clean, lightweight UI for seafarers in low-bandwidth conditions
• Full bilingual interface (Arabic + English)

UI/UX Design
• Mobile-first design with fast, simple navigation
• Must feel very intuitive and comfortable for non-tech users
• Interface must support Arabic (RTL) and English (LTR)
• Developer may select a ready-made UI Kit to save time and cost, or create a full custom UI if preferred
• Design must focus on usability and visual clarity

AI Knowledge Integration and Prompt Engineering

AI is powered by OpenAI GPT-4, but requires deep contextual customization for maritime industry use. The developer will:
• Integrate custom prompt structures (we will provide)
• Handle input/output around inspections, deficiencies, legal compliance, documents, and reports
• Include maritime knowledge from:
• International conventions (IMO, SOLAS, MLC, ISM, etc.)
• Industry inspection protocols and academic references
Maritime and shipping books , studies , academic, news , and all shipping data .
• Port entry rules and daily operational practices
• Produce output that is clear, helpful, and multilingual (English + Arabic)
• Ensure that seafarers can easily understand and act on all AI outputs
