Basic Ai Setup and Integration for Healthcare Analytics Portal

We are a proven healthcare analytics company looking to introduce basic Ai functionality into our existing web-based analytics portal. https://www.blueskyanaltyics.net
This initial phase is intentionally small, controlled, and pragmatic. The goal is to get Ai working in the portal in a simple, reliable way, with a foundation we plan to expand over time. We would like to get something off the ground ASAP.
We would like advice on which Ai to use. We are hosted in AWS, so we are thinking bedrock or google.
Scope of Work
1) Implement a basic AI assistant embedded in the portal
2) AI will answer user questions using existing analytics outputs (no direct SQL execution initially)
3) Generate plain language explanations of performance metrics and KPIs
4) Identify simple opportunities based on predefined KPI thresholds
5) Ensure predictable, auditable behavior suitable for healthcare data
6) The chat should respond with different types of resources (e.g. excel or PDF with list of patients due for a visit)
Technical Notes
1) Ai will be read only and constrained
2) Backend data access can be via pre exposed views, APIs, or cached outputs
3) Focus on clarity and reliability over sophistication
4) Healthcare data context requires secure handling
Required Skills
1) Practical experience deploying LLM based assistants
2) Ability to work with structured analytics data
3) Proven experience integrating AI into existing web applications
Comfort working in regulated environments preferred

1) Working AI assistant visible in the portal
2) Clear documentation for future expansion
3) Stable baseline architecture we can build on
