I’m producing a heartfelt parody of Dan Fogelberg’s “Same Auld Lang Syne” and need a singer who can mirror the profound emotion that defines the original (I don’t want it to SOUND like a parody - I wrote it to be sung as the original).
Above all else, the delivery has to feel authentic—nostalgia and sadness should sit right at the surface so every line lands with the same bittersweet weight as Fogelberg’s recording. AI or Human is fine as long as it achieves these goals.
What I’ll give you
• Final, fully-written parody lyrics (meter and rhyme already matched to the song - NEAR perfect based on original lyrics and syllable counts per line (with a few minor deviations).
• Background instrumentals
