Rustic PDF Cookbook Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have 150 finished recipes sitting in a plain document and a complete brand book that spells out my colour palette, fonts, and other visual staples. What I need now is a designer who can translate all of that into a warm, rustic-and-cozy PDF cookbook that feels every bit as inviting as the dishes themselves.
Here is the vision: each recipe sits on its own beautifully laid-out spread, supported by an AI-generated photo that matches the style guidelines I’ll supply. If you’re comfortable with Midjourney, DALL·E, or similar tools, great—otherwise I’m open to your preferred workflow for creating consistent, appetising images. The book opens with a short introduction and author bio, then flows straight into the recipes; optional extras such as a glossary or technique section can wait for a future edition, so you can stay focused on presentation and readability.
Because the final deliverable is a share-ready PDF, I’m expecting print-quality resolution, sensible file size for online distribution, embedded fonts, and proper page margins. Adobe InDesign or Affinity Publisher are ideal, but provide the packaged source files so I can make minor tweaks later if needed.
Deliverables
• Final press-ready PDF (150 recipes, intro & bio, branded styling)
• All high-resolution AI-generated images used in the layout
• Packaged source file with linked assets and fonts
• One revision round for small text or layout adjustments
Timelines are flexible within reason, though I’d love to start sharing the book soon. If this sounds like your kind of project, let’s make these recipes look as good as they taste.
