Technical Digital Textile Artist
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I'm looking for an AI/generative technical digital textile artist who specialises in textured or sleek hair, in realistic fabric textures for product design for clothing.
Key Requirements:
- Use AI or generative techniques
- Ability to take multiple photographic references of hair and seamlessly blend them into a single, cohesive, high-resolution image that looks natural.
- Expert skill in digitally painting or manipulating shadows, highlights, and contrast to give the flat 2D print the illusion of depth and volume (essential for making the hair look dimensional).
- Must work at extremely high resolutions (high DPI, e.g., 300-600 DPI) to ensure fine hair strands and color variations are sharp and clear when printed.
- Experience specifically with files prepared for Dye Sublimation or Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing, as these methods are required for photorealism on fabric
