AI Personalized Kids Storybook Creation
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’m building a line of printed and digital storybooks that turn every child into the star of their own adventure. To do that, I need a clever character-AI and face-replacement workflow that can:
• insert the child’s name seamlessly throughout the narrative
• map a supplied head-shot onto the main character across 15–20 illustrated pages
• generate or adapt side characters so the art looks consistent from cover to finale
The books will target youngsters from preschool up to about ten, so the visuals must stay gentle, colourful and age-appropriate while remaining high-resolution for print (300 dpi, CMYK) and lightweight enough for e-pub.
What I’m after
1. A repeatable pipeline—Python script, notebook, or GUI tool—that ingests (a) child’s name, (b) one clear photo and (c) chosen story template, then outputs press-ready PDFs plus web versions.
2. A set of example templates demonstrating at least two distinctive art styles and storylines, each already wired to accept the dynamic text and face input.
3. Clear hand-over notes so a non-technical designer on my team can run the process, swap assets, and change copy without breaking the automation.
Acceptance checklist
• Facial replacement matches skin tone and angle on a minimum 90 % of pages without obvious artefacts.
• Name appears correctly in title, dialogue and captions throughout.
• Output files pass pre-flight in Adobe InDesign and upload cleanly to KDP.
• All scripts/tools run locally on Windows or macOS with no paid API calls outside what we already license (we hold seats for Adobe CC and can install open-source models such as Stable Diffusion).
If you have prior work fusing AI-generated illustrations with user-supplied portraits—especially for children’s media—point me to it and tell me how quickly you can deliver the first working template.
