I’m developing a short-form documentary built around intimate personal stories and I want the finished piece to feel visually fresh and memorable. Instead of relying only on traditional b-roll, I’d like to weave in AI-generated visuals or light animations that echo each storyteller’s emotions, locations, or key moments.

Here’s how I see the collaboration: I’ll supply recorded interviews and any archival photos the participants are willing to share. Your job is to take that raw material and, with the help of generative tools such as Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, RunwayML, or a solution you prefer, create bespoke visuals that seamlessly blend with the live-action footage. Think subtle animated textures, stylised recreations of past events, or abstract imagery that underscores a feeling—nothing gimmicky, just story-driven enhancements.

To keep the workflow clear, I need:
• A rough visual treatment showing how AI assets will integrate with the edit
• The set of AI-generated frames/animations in high-resolution format (4K preferred)
• Delivery of layered project files so I can make minor tweaks later if needed

I’ll handle the core edit and colour grade; you focus on concepting, prompt crafting, generating, and compositing the AI artwork into the timeline. If you’re comfortable suggesting small script tweaks that make the visuals land harder, that’s a plus.

Experience in documentary storytelling, strong aesthetic judgment, and a solid grasp of generative-art best practices are essential.
