Book 2 of my twelve-part children’s series is ready for art. Book 1 is already in print, so the visual language, palette, and overall cartoonish charm are set; the main character simply needs a gentle evolution to reflect the new storyline without losing recognisability.
I have generated a complete AI storyboard for this sequel (21–30 frames). Your task is to refine each scene into polished, high-resolution illustrations that feel hand-crafted, keep the characters on-model, and harmonise with the established world USING AI. The AI storyboard is very AI...too much detail, not good enough as the book is aimed at 4-8 year olds, so there is too much detail for this age group to take in. One the visuals are final, please flow the supplied text onto each page so the book is press-ready.
Key deliverables:
• 21–30 full-colour, cartoon-style AI illustrations similar to Book 1’s tone, but closer to the AI storyboard
• Subtle redesign of the protagonist while retaining core features
• Consistent backgrounds, props, and supporting cast across all pages
• Final layout with text placed, delivered as print-ready PDF plus layered source files (PSD or AI)
I will provide:
• The published PDF of Book 1 for reference
• The AI-generated storyboard with rough captions
• Art bible
• Exact text blocks and layout specifications
