AI Cartoon Prompts & Vectorization
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m turning my animated YouTube scripts into fully illustrated videos and need help transforming my rough character sketches into polished, production-ready artwork. Your core task is to craft effective prompts for platforms such as Openart.ai or Google Nano banana so the generated images feature my existing cartoon characters in a variety of scenes that match each story beat. The characters must keep their original, cartoonish look, while the backgrounds can shift from city streets to simple natural settings—whatever the script calls for—yet always remain in a clean, basic cartoon style.
Once an image is generated you’ll bring it into Adobe Illustrator, vectorize every element, clean up any AI quirks (odd limbs, stray pixels, colour spills, etc.), and hand me a crisp, scalable file that will hold up when zoomed in during video editing. I’ll provide the script pages or thumbnails that describe each scene so you know exactly what to prompt and how many assets are needed.
Deliverables for each scene
• Final Illustrator (.ai) file, fully layered and editable
• High-resolution PNG or SVG export for quick review
• A brief note of the exact prompt used so I can keep a record for future iterations
I usually work in short batches, so clear communication and fast turnaround are important. If you’re comfortable juggling AI image generation with Illustrator clean-up, let’s get the first batch underway.
